Patrick Bryant blends the prolific poignancy of Billy Bragg, the playful humor of Towns Van Zant and the ribbon-like vocal timbre of a young Willie Nelson. With his wife Shelle's harmonies, the music evokes the intimacy of Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris. It's heartfelt and raw... as all good alt-country/americana should be, and yet, seldom is. --Jimmy Ether, Producer

More Shows in the Offing

I think my show announcements are starting to look like a broken record. To mix a metaphor. We're playing at good ol' Java Monkey next week and at Epiphany's "Courtyard Cafe" next month. And maybe at Avondale Autumnfest in October. By which time I guess I'll cycle back around to Java Monkey . . .

Java Monkey is Friday, August 22, say 8:30 to 10:30.

Courtyard Cafe will be Friday, September 26, starting at 7:00. That will be a ticketed event, part of an on-going concert series by Episcopal Church of the Epiphany. Shelle and I will start playing about 8:15ish, and there will be food and beer and wine and what not. Should be nice.
